The DST Governance board had an exciting field trip to Whangaparāoa as part of our annual forward planning activity. In the morning, we witnessed the V-BAT from Shield AI in action, alongside Hon Shane Jones and senior NZDF leadership.
Inspired by the demonstration, DST board members and senior leaders spent the afternoon laying the foundation for the future of DST. We will continue to focus on growing our experimentation efforts around innovative technologies and approaches that can make a real difference to NZDF and partner military capabilities. Working closely with innovation partners in the wider NZ ecosystem and internationally is critical to our success.
