Our People

Defence Science & Technology (DST) is A unit of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) made up of scientists, engineers, technicians and business service support staff. We are all civilians and come from a variety of backgrounds.

Our scientists are specialists in their own fields and include chemists, physicists, metallurgists, engineers, operations analysts, psychologists, human systems specialists and environmental scientists.Our staff collaborate across science & technology programs to make sure a multi-dimensional approach is taken for all research tasks.
